We’re celebrating the 2027 Summer Solstice with 36 holes across Formby and Formby Ladies. Then we’ll spend the rest of the trip exploring Open Rota Royals and beloved members’ clubs nearby.

Itinerary
Sunday, June 20, 2027: Golfers arriving at MAN Airport will be transferred to Southport to check in at the Bold Hotel and enjoy a group welcome dinner. This is your chance to carbo load for a big day ahead.
Monday, June 21, 2027: Spend the Summer Solstice golfing from sun-up to sundown. We’ll start with 9 holes at Old Southport Links (optional), spend midday at Formby Golf Club, and finish it off at Formby Ladies with bacon rolls and sandwiches between rounds.
Tuesday, June 22, 2027: Featuring some of the wildest and most dramatic dunes golf in the region, Hillside is a proper test—hence its history as a host site of the British Masters, English Open, Amateur Championship, and Open Championship qualifying.
Wednesday, June 23, 2027: The site of 13 Open Championships, including most recently in 2023, Royal Liverpool is often the favorite ‘royal’ in the region among purists.
Thursday, June 24, 2027: Transfers will be available for return trips to MAN Airport.
